TEHRAN (PEDC) - During a visit to the Pasargad Energy Development Company (PEDC) booth at the Tehran International Oil and Gas Exhibition (Iran Oil Show), representatives from the Iraqi Ministry of Energy and CEOs of Basra Oil Company and Missan Oil Company emphasized the importance of strengthening technical and specialized interactions with PEDC.
The high-ranking Iraqi energy delegation, including Basim Abdul Kareem, CEO of Basra Oil Company, Hussein Laibi, CEO of Missan Oil Company, and Sayed Ali Abdul Kareem, Director General of the Iraqi Oil Pipeline Company, along with several industry leaders from the country, visited the PEDC booth on Wednesday, the first day of the 28th International Oil, Gas, Refining, and Petrochemical Exhibition in Iran. The delegation was led by Hamdan Rashid, Advisor to the Iraqi Oil Minister.
During the visit, discussions and exchanges of views took place between the senior management of the companies. This visit comes following PEDC's receipt of the first exploration and production license in Iraq by an Iranian company, highlighting efforts to strengthen joint cooperation between PEDC and Iraqi oil companies.
