Renewables

Aligned with our strategic objectives of becoming a key player in the renewable energy sector in Iran, PEDC has achieved a significant milestone with the successful launch of our first Solar Power project in Damghan. Situated in the central region of Iran, this project boasts a capacity to generate 10 MW of clean energy. Its operations commenced in early 2023. In our unwavering commitment to promoting sustainable energy production, we are currently engaged in proactive planning to enhance our technological competitiveness and expand our investments in Solar Plants, both domestically and internationally. As part of this strategy, we have initiated additional investments :

  • Sorkheh Solar Power Plant with capacity of 12 MW and investment of 7 million dollars.
  • Mehdishar Solar Power Plant with capacity of 12 MW and investment of 7 million dollars.
  • Pasargad Energy Group won the tender for investing in the construction and operation of 1,500 MW of solar power plants, distributed across 24 plants in 12 provinces. This capacity surpasses the total renewable energy capacity developed in Iran to date, making it the largest renewable energy contract in the country. The investment amounts to $1 billion, with 25% financed by Pasargad Energy Group and 75% by the National Development Fund. Investment Plan 1500 MW

Undoubtedly, through the implementation of these expansion plans, our primary goal is to strengthen our position in the renewable energy sector as well as make significant contributions to building a sustainable future.
