Pars Behin Palayesh Naft Qeshm Company, with 17.5-million-dollar worth of exports, was selected as the best firm in exporting capital goods in Qeshm Free Zone during a ceremony marking the National Day of Industry and Mine, the company’s public relations announced.
Nineteen top industrial companies and two top mining firms in Qeshm Free Zone were honored during the ceremony, hosted by Qeshm Free Zone Organization and the Economic and investment department.
Meanwhile, the Managing Director of Pars Behin Palayesh Naft Qeshm Company, Hamed Doshmanfana, was recognized as the best industrial expert in the Iranian calendar year 1402 (ending March 19, 2023) during the ceremony, attended by the Chief Executive Officer of Qeshm Free Zone Organization, Adel Peighami, the Governor-General of Qeshm Island, Mohammad Mohammad-Hosseini, the Prosecutor General of Qeshm Island and some experts.
Pars Behin Palayesh Naft Qeshm, a subsidiary of Pasargad Energy Development Company (PEDC), is an ultra-heavy oil refinery that came online by Iran’s president in the winter of 2022. The refinery mainly produces various grades of bitumen as well as hydrocarbon products.
The company has recently announced it started producing bitumen AH-70 suitable for international markets for the first time in Iran.
Currently, there are 216 industrial and manufacturing units in Tola, Fajr, and Kaveh Industrial Cities, creating 6500 job opportunities in Qeshm Island.
