Sepehr, Jufair oilfields’ production capacity hits 90,000 bpd
Daily production capacity at Sepehr and Jufair oilfields set a new record of over 90,000 barrels per day (bpd), driven by sustained development and output enhancement.
The fields’ output currently online has reached 85,000 bpd, playing a pivotal role in boosting the operational capacity in the country's oil industry, according to the lastest reports.
Overall output from the Sepehr and Jufair oilfields has now surpassed 50 million barrels, highlighting the important position of this project within Iran’s broader crude production portfolio.
The development of the Sepehr and Jufair oilfields marks the first development project executed under the Iran Petroleum Contract (IPC) framework to be fully managed and funded by an Iranian company, highlighting a landmark reliance on local expertise.
