Closing Ceremony of the 2024 Internship Program at Pasargad Energy Group

On Tuesday, September 17, 2024, Pasargad Energy Group concluded its internship program for students. The event was attended by several PEDC group managers and participating students.
Designed to fulfill the company's social responsibility in education, the summer internship program accepted more than 70 students based on their academic qualifications and professional competencies.
Participants began with comprehensive training sessions, both general and specialized. They then explored the group's upstream and downstream projects, visiting the Sepehr and Jufair oil field developments in Ahvaz and projects on Qeshm Island, including a refinery, power plant, and port.
Following the completion of their training and visits, students were assigned to various Pasargad Energy Group subsidiaries based on their fields of study.
Statistics presented at the closing ceremony highlighted the program's achievements:
Training: 2,968 hours of upstream boot camps, 608 hours of downstream boot camps, 568 hours of organizational behavior training, 120 hours of mentoring.
Site Visits: 416 hours at the Sepehr and Jufair oil fields, 456 hours at the Qeshm Island refinery, dock, and power plant.
Additional: 284 hours of individual coaching, 280 hours of engineering economics classes, and 20 hours of a face-to-face meeting with the CEO.
Student satisfaction with the internship process reached a remarkable 95%.
Top performers in engineering economics will be recognized, and a comprehensive report on internship performance will be compiled to form a talent pool. Interns who complete PMP and CFA courses will be considered for future internship projects.
At the closing ceremony, top supervisors, mentors, and companies from the Pasargad Energy Group internship program were acknowledged and received certificates of appreciation from the students. The heads of the human capital department of the PEDC company and its subsidiaries were also recognized.
