QESHM MOVALLED
Qeshm Movalled Company (Private Joint Stock) was established in 2007 with the aim of investing in and constructing (designing, building, and operating) a combined cycle power plant with a capacity of 500 MW in the Companies registration office of Qeshm Free Zone.
In 2014, with the participation of Pasargad Energy Development Company and its affiliated companies in the shareholders of this company, in addition to the construction of a 500-megawatt combined cycle power plant, the utility requirements of the companies in the Pasargad Energy Development Group, including Pars Behin Oil Refining Company in Qeshm and Hara Jetty, were also assigned to this company. To this end, three gas units with a total capacity of 70 MW, three HRSG units, desalination facilities, and drinking water production were acquired and are currently operational.
Projects of Qeshm Movalled Company are located on Qeshm Island, Laft Road, near Zainabi Intersection.
The purpose of establishing the company and its main area of activity is to invest in and construct power generation facilities for the national grid as well as ancillary services (utilities) for the Pars Behin Oil Refinery, Hara Jetty, and the under-construction Javid Energy Petro Refinery, and to build a 500 MW combined cycle power plant in Qeshm Free Zone. Supplying a portion of the drinking water consumption of the residents of Qeshm Island is also among the missions of Qeshm Movalled Company.
