Pasargad E&P
Pasargad Exploration and Production (E&P) Company (a qualified E&P company by NIOC) established as the Operator of the development project of Sepehr and Jofeir oil fields in 2015. In late 2017, the development contract of this field was signed by Pasargad Energy Development Company and the National Iranian Oil Company, and in 2020, this company became the first Iranian developer of the field. Sepehr and Jofeir oil fields are located in southwestern Iran in Khuzestan province, and the details of the contract scheme are as follows:
- Contract Period: 20 years,
- Activities include exploration, drilling more than 130 wells, development of underground and surface facilities, and operation at a rate of 110,000 barrels per day with a total capacity of 512 million barrels of reserves.
- Total investment: 2.7 billion dollars.
- The most important anticipated activities under this contract include providing necessary services for workover existing wells, installing downhole pumps, vertical and directional drilling, fracturing operations, gas and water injection for increased production, and creating transmission pipelines and power transmission lines. With the implementation of this project, not only will it create the ground for the development of the West Karun and increase the country's production capacity, but it will also provide a high level of employment opportunities for the employment of the country's human capital in this large project.
