Pasargad Energy expands university collaboration with new agreements

Pasaragd Energy Development Company (PEDC) signed several new agreements with universities on Saturday at the 29th Iran International Oil, Gas, ‎Refining and ‎Petrochemical Exhibition, also ‎known as Iran Oil Show 2025, aiming to keep effective and fruitful cooperation with academic institutions.
In this regard, Pasargad Exploration and Production Company and the Institute of Petroleum Engineering of the University of Tehran signed an agreement to design, construct, test and commission a flow assurance laboratory, with Ali Agha-Mohammadi, a member of the Expediency Discernment Council, and the CEO of Pasargad Energy Development Company, Alireza Sadegh Abadi, in attendance. The agreement was signed by the Director of the Institute of Petroleum Engineering, Mojtaba Sahriaty-Niassar, and the PEDC’s Sadegh Abadi.
In a separate agreement, Pasargad Energy Development Company partnered with Sharif University of Technology to establish and commission an innovation center focused on artificial intelligence. The agreement was signed by the PEDC’s CEO, Sadegh Abadi, and the President of Sharif University of Technology, Abbas Mousavi.
Meanwhile, another agreement with Sharif university was inked by Pasargad Exploration and Production Company to develop laboratory equipment and launch a digital core laboratory. The agreement outlines collaboration in designing and executing the project to construct essential laboratory equipment and launching of a digital core lab, considered as a unique research facility in the country.
The company also signed an agreement with the University of Tehran to expand cooperation in training, internships, and workforce development, reinforcing ties between industry and university. The agreement was inked by the Head of Human Resources Department at Pasargad Energy Development Company, Hadi Mirbagheri, and the Director of the Institute of Petroleum Engineering, Mojtaba Sahriaty-Niassar.
Moreover, Taban Energy Pasargad Industries Development Company, a subsidiary of Pasargad Energy Development Company, signed a cooperation agreement with Sharif Gostaresh Zistboom Fanavari Company on feasibility study, design, procurement, construction, full commissioning, and operation of the 10-megawatt Sorkheh photovoltaic solar power plant.
