Intelligent Power Plant Condition Monitoring Workshop Held at Pasargad Energy Group Booth

An educational workshop on intelligent power plant condition monitoring, organized by the IPCM Center, took place today, Saturday, April 20, at the booth of Pasargad Energy Group, attracting keen interest from attendees.

During the workshop, Amir Hossein Bahreini, Technical Manager and Energy Production Supervisor at Shams Pasargad Power Plant, introduced the Shariati Power Plant in Mashhad, where the intelligent condition monitoring center is located, and elaborated on the significance of this center.

The Intelligent Power Plant Condition Monitoring Center (IPCM Center), established through the collaboration of Pasargad Energy Group, Shams Pasargad Power Generation Company, and Sharif University of Technology, was inaugurated in the presence of the Vice President for Science, Technology, and Knowledge-Based Economy. This initiative represents an important step towards optimizing power plant operations and enhancing the efficiency of rotating equipment.

The Intelligent Condition Monitoring Center enables real-time oversight of rotating equipment performance, leading to reduced energy imbalance, increased equipment lifespan, lowered maintenance costs, improved fault prediction, and overall optimization of power plant operations.
