Russian Presidential Aide in Science and Technology and Iranian Vice-President for Science, Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy paid a visit to the Well Reservoir Facility Management (WRFM) of Pasargad Energy Development Company (PEDC) on Saturday May 3, 2025.
Andrei Fursenko, who is in Tehran at the invitation of his Iranian counterpart, Hossein Afshin, visited the company’s Well Reservoir Facility Management (WRFM), which obviously represents utilizing modern technology in energy sector.
Referring to the company’s WRFM, Afshin said Sepehr and Jofair oilfields have first smart wells in Iran which were finalized in less than a year.
We try to make all wells smart, he said, adding, “We focuses on making successful examples of using artificial intelligence and developing them.”
Meanwhile, Fursenko lauded the achievements made in the area, stating, “What we see today is based on advanced laws of physics and state-of-the-art technology and indicates high potentials of Iranian experts in this field.
