The 14th National ChemiCar Competition, aimed at elevating academic and technical expertise while strengthening teamwork skills among participants, was held on the February 24–25, 2025 at Sharif University of Technology. Organized under the supervision of the Iranian Chemical Engineering Association and hosted by the university’s Chemical Engineering Faculty and the Kimia Scientific Association, the event was proudly supported by Pasargad Energy Group as part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives.
The competition featured 20 teams from universities across Iran and two student teams, all tasked with designing compact vehicles powered by controlled chemical reactions to transport cargo over a specified distance. Participants showcased innovative solutions, blending principles of chemistry and engineering to meet the challenge.

The ChemiCar competition has become a cornerstone for promoting hands-on learning and collaboration in STEM fields, offering students a platform to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world engineering challenges. This year’s edition underscored Iran’s growing emphasis on nurturing homegrown innovation and technical expertise in alignment with global sustainability goals.
