Pasargad Energy is the first and only Iranian company that has managed to receive a license to develop oil and gas fields in Iraq after the evaluation by the Iraqi Ministry of Oil.

"Pasargad Energy Development Company" (PEDC), as one of the leading private companies actively engaged in the sustainable development of large-scale energy projects in Iran, successfully qualified by the Iraqi Ministry of Oil as an Exploration and Production (E&P) company.

PEDC is the first and only Iranian company, along with reputable international companies, to obtain the license for the exploration and development of oil and gas fields in Iraq from the Iraqi Ministry of Oil, enabling independent or collaborative investment and development by upstream contracts of the country.

In addition to being qualified as an E&P company in Iraq, PEDC has been endorsed by the Basra Oil Company (BOC) as a developer and contractor in Iraq. Therefore, PEDC is authorized to participate in and execute major projects in the upstream and downstream sectors of oil and gas, petrochemical, infrastructure, and renewable energy projects independently or in collaboration with esteemed international oil and gas companies actively cooperating with BOC.
