TEHRAN (Shana) -- The CEO of the Petroleum Engineering and Development Company (PEDEC) stressed the necessity of completing the Goreh-Jask oil pipeline project on time.
"According to the country's policies, implementation of this national plan is very important to be on time," Toraj Dehghani said on Wednesday.
Timely implementation of the project will reduce costs and given the country's policies, its completion is ton on the agenda, he said.
The official expressed optimism that the $2b project’s first phase would come online by March 2021.
The pipeline is being built for the transfer of a million barrels of oil on a daily basis from Goreh to Jask oil export terminal.
