Through the statement, the lawmakers seconded the Iranian Ministry of Petroleum's oil policies as well as Minister of Petroleum Bijan Zangeneh's efforts at the 174th Meeting of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC).
The document was rehearsed during the parliament's Wednesday session.
At the organization's 174th general meeting, OPEC members decided to stick to the group's output cut plan which was decided upon back in November 2016.
