Iran to Launch Energy Technology Center

TEHRAN (Shana) -- The Scientific and Technology Department of Iranian Presidential Office will launch an energy technology center for the first time in the country.

 

Kambiz Mehdizadeh, secretary of the energy technological development of the Scientific and Technology Department of the Presidential Office, said the center will be inaugurated with support from the private sector to serve as a hub for gathering all startups and knowledge-based firms active in the field of energy in the country.

He said the center will be a step in organizing energy activities in the country, saying it will be a place for presentation of energy innovations by startups and knowledge-based firms.

The secretary of the department for energy technology development, pointing out that turning small energy companies into large companies is one of the goals of the center's activities, said that the center provides the ground for powerful but small companies to become majors and develop their market and also benefit the economy of the country.
