Fariba Rezaei, the plant's director general of environment, told a ceremony to inaugurate the projects that launching such projects was a must in the western province of Kurdistan given the environmental hazards threatening the region's citizens and wildlife, National Petrochemical Company (NPC) reported.
The projects were launched on the occasion of the Government Week and are considered great steps to prevent emission of greenhouse gases by the plant.
