NIDC Drills 88 Wells in 7 Months

TEHRAN (Shana) -- National Iranian Drilling Company (NIDC) has spudded 88 oil and gas wells in the first 7 months of the current calendar year, which began on March 21.

 

Deputy Managing Director of NIDC Hamid Reza Khoshayand said the company had drilled 111,625 meters of wells during the period, adding 38 wells were development and appraisal and 50 others were workover operations.

Moreover, 60 wells were drilled in the oil-rich regions of southern Iran which are being operated by the National Iranian South Oil Company (NISOC).
